Twelve SDULC Lions, LEOs, parents and friends met up at South Mission Beach at 8 am on Friday August 5th to rid the jetty, park and beach area of 15 lbs. of trash. The “blue sky” day was perfect for performing community service.
After the beach cleanup, LEO Advisor Lee Mariano led the first LEO meeting of the new Lions year to engage our new LEO leadership to plan future community service events. Some of the group stayed on to get in a game of beach volleyball before departing.
Thank you to all in attendance – community service at its best!!
